At Thonet & Vander®, the environment is a core value, guiding everything we do. Our mission is to deliver top-quality audio products without harming the planet. That is why we are transforming our packaging and collateral to be more sustainable. Through Green Sound™, we aim to reduce our ecological footprint by choosing recycled, biodegradable, and eco-friendly materials.

We have taken thoughtful actions,
that make a real difference.

Less ink, more simplicity. We are switching from four-color printed packaging to one-color printing. By using less ink, we not only cut down on harmful chemicals but also lower our energy consumption in the printing process. This small change results in fewer pollutants and reduces overall environmental impact.

Recycled paper, natural look. We are transitioning from bleached white cardboard to natural kraft carton board across 95% of our product line. This shift drastically reduces the use of harmful chemicals associated with the bleaching process. Kraft paper is also stronger, requires less energy to produce, and is fully recyclable, helping us keep waste out of landfills.

Less plastic, more eco-friendly alternatives. We are committed to reducing plastic in our packaging. That is why we are replacing traditional plastic bags with soluble, biodegradable alternatives. Instead of using re-sealable bags for collateral purposes, we now use kraft envelopes. By reducing plastic waste, we are helping to minimize the pollution that threatens marine life and ecosystems around the world.

Less paper, more digital innovation. We are not just cutting back on the amount of paper we use — we are also making what we do use smarter. We have introduced low-weight recycled paper and one-ink Quick Start Guides in our packaging, minimizing resource consumption. For Product Manuals, we have gone fully digital. Each product Quick Start Guide now includes a QR code, providing easy access to online product manuals, which reduces paper waste and our carbon footprint.

These steps are just the beginning. We know that sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to continuously improving. By going green, we are ensuring that the world sounds better — for us and for future generations.
